Chloe cargo pants/trousers for women

Meet the Chloe Cargo Pants/Trousers pattern for women, in sizes 34 to 56 (European).

With this pattern you’ll learn techniques for a professional finish, such as:

• Pocket bags sewn with french seams

• Double topstitching similar to jeans

• Fly extension finished with trim

The Chloe pants are fitted through the waist and hips, with a relaxed straight leg. The design features:

• slanted pockets at the front

• darts and patch pockets in the back

• a zip fly with button

• belt loops

• optional cargo pockets.

During the design and testing processes I made several pairs for myself and for my daughter, most of them in stretch twill fabric and two pairs in stretch corduroy. The ideal fabrics for this pattern are medium-weight woven with approximately 2% of elastane, such as twill, corduroy or even denim. For these samples I used some very good fabrics:

• White twill from here: 98% Cotton 2% Elastane, 245 g/m2

• Light blue twill from here: 98% Cotton 2% Elastane, 230 g/m2

• Brown twill from here: 98% Cotton 2% Elastane, 240 g/m2

• Navy blue twill from here: 98% Cotton 2% Elastane, 290 g/m2

• Dark blue corduroy from here: 98% Cotton 2% Elastane, 300 g/m2
