Introducing the Alex Sweatshirt sewing pattern
Meet the new PDF pattern for boys and girls, the Alex Sweatshirt. It's a relaxed fit sweatshirt designed for stretch fabrics such as french terry or sweatshirt knit. It's suitable for every season, to wear to school or to play in and has several interchangeable options that you can mix and match to make lots of different sweatshirts and hoodies.
I wanted a sweatshirt that my kids could wear with jeans, joggers, shorts or just about any bottom piece that they have, and that would be comfortable and stylish. This pattern is exactly that! They can wear this to school, to the park and to the beach on cooler afternoons.

Choose between several options to make your favorite sweatshirt:
cropped or regular length
waistband or elasticated waist
hood or neckband
solid or two options of color-blocked front and sleeves. The back is always solid.
And you can even print these sketches to plan your make.
Oh and just look at that roomy hood! I hate it when sweatshirts have hoods that are so short or small that they don't fit over the head and fall off. :-) This pattern has a hood that won't fall off, and it's cosy!
This is a digital pattern and comes in sizes 12 months through 14 years (meaning from 80cm to 170cm height), separated by color and line style. All pattern files feature Adobe Acrobat "Layers", so that you can print just the size that you need. The A4 file is compatible with both A4 and US letter sized paper to print at home. And if you don't feel like doing all the cutting and taping there's also an A0 format file that you can have printed at a copy shop.
